We learned how to keep warm in winter:

We wear warm clothes.

We tried on lots of hats, followed procedures to make pirate hats, sang “I’ve got a hat” and learned the poem “My Hat” by Tony Mitton.  Bhíomar ag ceannach hata freisin, bhí gach sórt hata ar díol sa siopa.

We take plenty of exercise.

We learned some playground games with Rebecca.  Our favourites were in and out the dusty bluebells,  jumping/skipping games and Queenie-I-O.

We eat hot food.

 

We also learned about keeping our houses warm in winter.  

We talked about the importance of keeping the door closed to keep in heat.  We designed our own rooms and used different fibres and fabrics to create warmth.

 

We had great fun designing houses

and listening to the story The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse.
